Hello everybody. My name is Sándor Csicsmán and I am a professional tour guide in Hungary.
I was born in Győr, one of the most beautiful cities in Hungary. I have university degrees in History, Literature and Languages. I worked as a secondary-school teacher for several years. Nowadays, I have private students, I teach them in my home. I love teaching.
Besides teaching I have been working as a licensed private guide for many years. I work both with my own guests and for Hungarian travel agencies taking groups all over the world. I have worked in more than 60 countries several times. I accept tourist groups and individual guests. I can surely arrange you unforgettable tours in all fields of cultural life during your stay.
As I am a teacher of History and Literature as well, I can give you a widespread insight into the Hungarian culture.I can devise a specific tour of your own itinerary based on your requirements - if you want to explore a specific area.
I take groups, private guests all over the country and in Budapest and escort groups out‐bound (Europe, Asia, Africa).
Most of my groups are private tours of all kinds: couples, families with kids and teens, friends traveling together, companies meeting in Budapest who need a break between their congress activities. And I’m also used to working for larger groups: tours organized by travel agencies, student groups…

From the moment I pick you up at your accommodation we can fine‐tune the tour to suit your requirements. We travel at a place that suits you, staying for as long as you require at any location or attraction. As I am totally independent I can spend as many days as you need with you. By car is far the best way to see Hungary.
Besides Budapest I can take you to the scenic countryside, to the beautiful Hungarian towns and villages. We can make wine tours, night trips, hiking tours as well. My goal is to make sure your visit is a safe, productive and an enjoyable one. I really want you to get the best out your time in Hungary.
